About Mark & Hansina
Mark and Hansina Mickschl met on a blind date in the fall of 1994, that changed the course of their lives forever.
Raised in Catholicism, Mark spent much of his early life striving for "acceptance" through performance, duty, and fear. Hansina, raised in a Christ-centered home and education, gently and faithfully introduced him to biblical TRUTH, not religion, but relationship.
Through decades of:
-Biblical study and seminary learning
-Prayer, fasting, worship, and fellowship
-Covenant marriage and family life
-Raising children, including adopted children
-Walking closely with people through life’s hardest seasons
What was once informal discipleship, has now become an intentional ministry.
The Turning Point
In 1993, Mark was in a dark and dangerous place. By God’s grace, destruction was averted, and hope was restored.
One year later, Mark met Hansina. His worldview, faith, and identity were transformed. Under the discipleship of Hansina and her mother, Darlene, Mark learned to walk in TRUTH, freedom, and intimacy with God.
They married at the end of 1995 and recently celebrated 30 years of marriage, living as a testimony to redemption, healing, and covenant love.
Our Heart & Mission
Mickschl Ministries exists to create a place of intentional sanctuary.
A place of safety. A place to be heard. A place to be encouraged.
We exist to:
-Share the Good News of the Kingdom
-Heal the sick and restore the brokenhearted
-Set the captives free
-Encourage the saints
-Visit the lonely
-Place orphans in families
-Correct deception with TRUTH
-Spread the love and joy of God’s Kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven
We understand how heavy life can feel. Our purpose is to lovingly help remove the fog, clean the lens, and restore vision so people can see clearly again, the Lord’s way.
